International Migration of High Skilled Talent

Demographic pressures, globalization, and competition have increased the global race for highly skilled workers. International mobility of high-skilled talent, a growing feature of globalization in the 21st century, has important economic, fiscal, developmental, and social consequences for the origin as well as destination countries.

Columbia School of Social Work invites members of China’s academic, governmental, and NGO communities and students interested in the School to meet with Dean Jeanette Takamura and Professor Neeraj Kaushal who will present discussions in Beijing and Shanghai titled International Migration of High Skilled Talent: Sending and Receiving Country Perspectives at Columbia Global Centers | East Asia and Fudan University. Alumni and friends are welcome.
